Natural Burial New Mexico's mission is to protect open space and help preserve native ecosystems through the revitalization of community-centered natural burial practices.

 

Our burial site, La Puerta Natural Burial Ground, provides families and friends a beautiful and private setting to lay a loved one to rest. It is the only certified green burial ground fully dedicated to natural burials in New Mexico.

 

Located only an hour south of Albuquerque at the base of the Manzano Mountains, the 40 acre burial ground lies adjacent to 14,000 acres of open space, preserved for future generations.
